gabby899 37 Posted September 23, 2012 Woohoo. We need to keep up with each other! Anyone starving yet!?! I'm mentally hungry and belly hungry some times! What does a clear liquid diet consist of?
SleeveandRNYchica 1,155 Posted September 23, 2012 My preop doesn't consist of clears so not sure... broth and what else I have no clue. Sent from my iPod touch using VST
jazzeeja 24 Posted September 23, 2012 Surgery on 9/27. 37y/o 5'6, 266 pre op. goal 170-175. Been on pre op liquid diet since Wed ... 4 more days!!!
jazzeeja 24 Posted September 23, 2012 Clear Liquids is clear Protein Drink (Isopure is the only one I know of besides unflavored Protein added to water). SF Jello, SF Popsicles, and broth. And of course Water. I think you can still use Crystal light (or whatever brand you use). 1 geewalk reacted to this
fattymcfatterson 107 Posted September 23, 2012 I am on the 28th! Feeling a little left out of the september group being that it is the very end of the month! I am 41, 5 ft 1 and 231 lbs. I am a little nervous because just this week my allergies have flared up and I have a cough. I do not want to be coughing after surgery. Staying dilligent on my allergy medicine and praying nothing gets messed up!!!! Pre op diet is vegetarian low fat so I am not suffering to bad. Practicing on Protein Shakes and found some good combos I like.

gabby899 37 Posted September 23, 2012 Ooh don't feel left out there are plenty of us!! What combos have you been doing. Would love a different flavor!!
jazzeeja 24 Posted September 23, 2012 There are plenty of us late Sept sleevers :-) I'd love to hear about what you all are doing to add variety to you Protein Drinks. So far I've experimented with unsweetened almond milk, SF vanilla Creamer, Splenda/trivia and ice. When I can I will use the Magic Bullet to blend.
jazzeeja 24 Posted September 23, 2012 Forget to include that I'm using Bariatric Advantage strawberry Protein for pre op diet but had also experimented with nectar flavors and a few Jay Robb flavors.
