I just tried CC yesterday with Pesto Sauce which I bought from the supermarket...it's cool

Also CC with sliced fruites and maybe some Splenda

I also add any low fat salad dressing to it specially Blue cheese sauce...Yummy

Sometime I add some blue cheese itself to CC it tastes heavenly

Hated cottage cheese before surgery. Reminded me of curdled milk. Now I can't get enough of it and eat it all the time. I just do salt and pepper.

I just had to share this with you, I just made it, and it turned out delicious

I steamed an apple in a steamer with some cinnamon and a bit of Splenda, you can also boil it, after the apple was soft I put it in a food processor until it 's texture was almost creamy, I added the mix to 100 gm of creamy cottage cheese and mixed them, the outcome was marvelous, it tasted so nice that made me think that something this delicious couldn't be a "Diet" food.< /p>

Try it, I bet you'll definitely like it.

I tried cottage cheese with pineapples yesterday and the pineapples were delicious but the cheese just tasted sour. Idk I need to figure out how to get the taste better I guess more sweet to go with the pineapples ?

Did you pour at least a couple of tablespoons of the pineapple juice that they pack the pineapples in onto the cottage cheese? That's what I do - but I like the taste of the cottage cheese anyway.

So far, I've tried it with pico and salsa. I like it with both. It's funny because out of all the diets I'v been on, I could never make myself eat it. I always had to substitute it, but now I eat it everyday.

I'm a Kroger shopper too. I like a lot of their brands, especially the CarbMaster yogurts.

Funny thing about taste Bud's, I love Chobani and some other Greek Yogurts but, Carbmaster to me tastes sweeter than a spoon full of straight syrup.....

I recommend Knudsen CC....it's the best one I've had and it's dry compared to others I've tried.

I know I said my favorite was Walmart Great Value cottage cheese but I didn't say why..I should've preempted that with I normally hate Walmart brand stuff. What I like about their small curd cottage cheese is that curds are really small and it seems more creamy vs milky and wet if any of you used to eat Kroeger CC back in the day before it got all milky like it is now but this is more like that.I like it topped with salsa or with sweet Tomato slices.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
