I'm a fast talker and I just know that when I say, "Don't ever," or, "Can't ever," it comes out sounding like a double negative: don't never, or can't never. I feel like I have to stop the conversation and pronunciate that bit again so that it's clear I'm not as ignorant as I sound.

I think that people who over use absolutes like "literally" take the wind out of what they are saying. Very few things are literal
