Angelmom 30 Posted September 20, 2012 Hi. Thank you for responding. I added memory to my computer but I still have problems with internet explorer saying things about memory. I did have Chrome on here for a few days, that someone else downloaded when working on my Norton....and I uninstalled it because there are privacy issues with Google that I didn't want to deal with...and I think it made my computer run slower. I looked up Mozilla because I used to have that and never used it...and people say it makes their computers run slower....which is a problem I do not want. I need to find a way to deal with this problem that won't slow the rest of my computer down. I have basic cable internet.
Ken S. 162 Posted September 20, 2012 Hello, Items like Chrome and Firefox, will not cause any issues with the rest of your computer - assuming you downloaded and installed them from the original sources - being their respective websites which Alex provided above. You mention that IE is complaining of memory issues...that leads me to believe that...your computer has issues with memory. You say that you added "memory" to your computer - how much? How much do you have total? What operating system are you running? We can assist in diagnosing your problems, but so far, this is looking like a problem with your computer. Thanks, Ken
Baby Beluga 10 Posted September 20, 2012 Hello, if you have the ability to view on your cellphone you will have no issues. It's super fast and simple to download and use. Great interface. There is a small ad section but not really bothersome... I agree w the admin moderator, switching your browser will def solve your pc issue. As for google and your privacy issues, they now have the ability to search n surf incognito and no one can track your site visits. Hope it helps and good luck. Angelmom 30 Posted September 20, 2012 It isn't a problem with my computer because every other website works fine. I have XP and don't know how to check the memory.
