mamitalosingit 20 Posted September 19, 2012 Hello, I'm officially one week post op today and went to the salon to get my hair done. I don't know if it was the lights, the smock or what but about halfway through I started to sweat, felt a little nauseous and felt my blood pressure shoot up. My stylist brought me some ice Water and I sat there for a couple of minutes and then it went away. It happened about 30 minutes later as I was about to leave. I just got home, took my temperature and it was 96.1. I'm a little too young for the change in life so I'm hoping it is related to the surgery. Did anyone experience this after surgery? I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow so I will address with her, I just thought I would see if I'm not alone on this one. Thanks!
TMyers1471 87 Posted September 19, 2012 You are not alone. I experienced the same thing. Get some Protein in you when that happens. I experience hot flashes when I eat and I was sleeved on May 21st. Hang in there. It will get better.
bubles089 35 Posted September 19, 2012 For the first 2 weeks post op every time I tried to get ready this happened I profusely sweated. I think part of it was dehydration because not much made my hr go to the 140s also your hormones are going crazy right now so that has a lot to do with it too 1 TMyers1471 reacted to this
ALIGAYLE 20 Posted September 19, 2012 Wow! That mustv'e been awful.. I have heard that hormones can do that. Are you PMSing?
whitsmom08 17 Posted September 22, 2012 I'm 2 weeks out almost and do the same thing. I just had my hair done this week and my stylist could tell when one was coming on. She would turn the fans on. Hoping this doesn't last long.
