Stupid Question?

Recommended Posts

I am currently in the process of being approved for my sleeve and I am trying to take in as much information as possible! I keep reading about people having "stalls"... could someone please explain this to me!?! Thanks!

I assumed it was something like that. Thanks!

Back in the "old days" of dieting, we used to call them "plateaus" and assumed they were a natural part of the weight loss process. Which they are!! Now that we've had surgery, we expect the magic fairy dust to make the weight evaporate without any sort of bump in the road. It is merely your body catching up and doing what it needs to do, so when you get to these stalls DO NOT freak out. We've all done it. Some of us learn to accept it, and some continue to freak out. I even bounce UP before I go down past my lowest weight again. I've just learned to accept that too. It's all good!! :)

I will do my best to not freak out when I get to that point! Thanks for the info!

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
