JMarshall 352 Posted September 18, 2012 I would stick to what you know. 6 weeks out your stomach is still healing. i would stay to soft foods and things that are easily chew-able.
COsleeveDude 273 Posted September 18, 2012 Six weeks out you should be able to try a myriad of things. You can always try a sandwich and only eat half or ditch the bread if it doesn't agree with you. I always get wheat bread when they have it. Any salad bar should have ham and chicken. If they do Breakfast food eggs always work.
Lissa 2,631 Posted September 18, 2012 Most hospital cafeterias offer some version of Soup. If you're on soft solids, perhaps you could have grilled chicken or a small piece of fish.
Squisha 99 Posted September 18, 2012 I would stop by the cafteria when they are slow, if you explain your dietary needs they should be able to tell you what is available. That and they make food in the back for all kinds of special diets. they may be able to offer something that you don't see. 1 COsleeveDude reacted to this
