mgsmith72 30 Posted September 17, 2012 I am 5 days post op and I am having a hard time with drinking Water. Everytime I sip I get a hard ball feeling in my chest. I know this will past just wondering about others experience who are only a few days out.

chilihot59 156 Posted September 17, 2012 Take smaller sips! I know it's a "pain", excuse the pun but, you have to. It will get better day by day!!!
JerzyGirl 25 Posted September 17, 2012 I get that same feeling when I take too big a sip of Water at one time. Like the others said, try taking even smaller sips and see if that helps. It will get better!
mgsmith72 30 Posted September 17, 2012 Thanks all, that's the thing I take baby sips that's why it takes so long to drink a bottle. JMarshall 352 Posted September 17, 2012 Try drinking Water at a different temperature. some people do better with cooler water and some do better with room temperature water.
