alex&zsmom 33 Posted September 16, 2012 Pre-op was definitely the worst, and mine was only two days! I barely made it. When I see what others have to do, I'm in awe. The best I can offer is that you'll never feel this way again! Hang in there!

alex&zsmom 33 Posted September 16, 2012 I was really concerned that I would feel like that forever, but as soon as you go under, it really is over! It feels sort of miraculous. And like I said, I almost gave up in the two days.
my time 9 Posted September 16, 2012 Starting my second week. Everyone told me if I made it to day 3 I would be OK. Not exactly. This is tough. This weekend I have tried hard to stay busy so to keep my mind off of food. Celery is saving me!!! Good luck.
alex&zsmom 33 Posted September 16, 2012 Are you sure you can have Celery already? That seems a little rough for our unhealed stomachs. My hunger didn't completely go away until this week-week 4. Protein is what keeps me going....

Ready4success 380 Posted September 16, 2012 Starting my second week. Everyone told me if I made it to day 3 I would be OK. Not exactly. This is tough. This weekend I have tried hard to stay busy so to keep my mind off of food. Celery is saving me!!! Good luck. I just kept eating something. I went from one thing to the next with 3 Protein Shakes a day, and sf pospsicles, and low sodium broths were a free for all. I still lost and my liver was fine. SleeveandRNYchica 1,155 Posted September 17, 2012 I started preop this am. 15 days. I have to say it is challenging at best. Day 1 morning has been okay. I am sure day 4, my feelings will be a bit different. I told our Nanny this AM that she only needed to prepare Soups. She looked at me like I was crazy. Mind you, this is not the 1st time we have had this convo! I guess it is a bit much to understand unless u are going through it!
