tayvia99 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Ok well now I am 4 days post op and I am feeling much better. I actually now dont need any pain killers, but I am having like chest pain. It feels like someone is sitting on my chest or its like filled with air. Is that normal??? I called my doctor to ask but no one is there anyone know? faybie 0 Posted September 23, 2006 During the surgery, they inflate you with air so that the Dr. can see to operate without obstruction. This air sometimes gets traped near the diaphram and causes pain. This is common with any Laporoscopy surgery not just the band. I was told walking was the best way to alleviate the pain.
