I Did It!

At the end of June I was devastated that my A1C number was 10.6. It stopped me from getting a surgery date. I really wanted to give up but didn't. I went high Protein low carb. Guess what? Today my A1C is 7.5. I will be having surgery October 1 st! I did it. Thanks for all the encouragement. You guys rock.

Yep. Most surgeons won't do surgery if it's too high. The risk of complications is higher and healing may be impaired.
