PEvette 297 Posted September 13, 2012 I only have dizzy spells if I go too long before my next meal....I'll get weak and light headed, and if I turn too fast I'll get dizzy
tab041587 2 Posted September 13, 2012 I am also struggling with this issue. My blood pressure is very low. The dr also told me to drink more Water.< /p>
slojo 150 Posted September 13, 2012 I was going to say: you're probably dehydrated and blood pressure bottoms out when you stand from lack of Fluid in the blood... I'm having the same today...Trying to drink more water...Not urinating much either so i'm pretty sure it's dehydration...
VJSlim 156 Posted September 13, 2012 Are you getting in enough Water? I had dizzy spells too - it was because of dehydration and sometimes low blood sugar. I used to carry a small zip-lock bag with powdered sugar with me when I go out, if I know I'm going to be out for a while without eating anything.
Mr_Worm 129 Posted September 13, 2012 This is called hypotention...its where your blood pressure is lower than what the body is used to. This happened early in my Sleeve experience, especially after I worked out and sat in my recliner for a spell. After a few months it stopped. Its just going on as your body is going through its major adjustments in the beginning 1 Caradina reacted to this
cmd1109 85 Posted September 13, 2012 I had the same issue. I ended up passing out and hitting my head which resulted in 10 staples. Needless to say it was not pleasant. My blood pressure was low by the time I was seen in the ER (5 hours later) but that's normal for me. I believe it was dehydration, as soon as I got the IV fluids I felt like a million bucks. I am so diligent about getting enough Water now.
kbaith25 38 Posted September 13, 2012 Orthostatic hypotension , due to dehydration , can you tolerate Gatorade or sugar free Gatorade ? If you can this may help or maybe some broth ? You need more Fluid but you also need the sodium to retain the fluid and raise your bp 1 slojo reacted to this
803Misty 11 Posted September 13, 2012 Thanks everyone for responding. I am probably not getting enough Water in. It is so hard for me to get my Protein in everyday and after I get that in I dont want anything. I am going to try to push water today in somewhere in between.
