jennrus 176 Posted September 12, 2012 I am on meds to prevent gallbladder stones but the pills are HUGE! Hard to get down. Anyone else on these?
nyxa 159 Posted September 12, 2012 never heard of 'em! hope they work! can you break them in half or something?.. if it's a solid pill, you can use a pill cutter & make it smaller & more manageable. if it's a capsule, then i'm sorry it's big.
jennrus 176 Posted September 12, 2012 Ursodial. They are huge capsules. Dr said reduces odds of stones by 30%. Take twice a day and they hurt going down. A real pain as they feel like they get stuck every time.

jennrus 176 Posted September 12, 2012 I am still doing chewable vits but thought about crushing regular ones into smoothy. When chewables gone I will try it.
lollyfidy1965 402 Posted September 12, 2012 Actigall is available as a capsule, and can be opened and dumped/mixed in unsweetened applesauce. I do this twice a day. The medicine doesn't affect the taste of the applesauce at all. 1 nyxa reacted to this
karenb4729 309 Posted September 12, 2012 I'm also on the same pill. My Doctor won't let me swallow pills - I have to open them up and put them in pudding to take them.
