Tekara3927 265 Posted September 12, 2012 IM only 5 days post op... But when is a good time to just do it? I feel like we could but I'm scared, I'm not a good judge of that subject considering we didn't wait very long to do the deed after our daughter. I looked through all my paperwork, all the docs notes just say when you're ready, but... I'm ready! Just frightened. Still pretty sore!
Angelmom 30 Posted September 12, 2012 I wouldn't. Give yourself the 2 months healing! If he can't wait for your full healing...get a new guy.
kamrie37 134 Posted September 12, 2012 If you are ready, then do it.. just go slow. No acrobatic moves or bouncing too hard and you will be fine. 1 Tekara3927 reacted to this
Tekara3927 265 Posted September 12, 2012 Oh he could wait, I'm the one who can't! We've been together 7 years and we are still insanely crazy for each other! I guess it's true love! I'm thinking I'll wait a few more days.. Then I won't feel so crazy. 1 Sherry77 reacted to this

SleeveandRNYchica 1,155 Posted September 12, 2012 I just left my surgeon and he laughed. He said it is a great way to burn calories. Whenever I am ready ! My husband was happy with that response. 1 Tekara3927 reacted to this

Angelmom 30 Posted September 12, 2012 If one of you slips and you get squished in the gut, it could do severe damage. What if you get pregnant now too, when you are supposed to be healing the next 2 months. I understand the urge, but mind over matter is probably wiser in this case. SunnyCox 245 Posted September 12, 2012 My surgeon said as soon as I was ready. Three days after surgery, and it wasn't an issue. 1 Tekara3927 reacted to this
Tekara3927 265 Posted September 12, 2012 Thanks, I'm not too worried about pregnancy, I have the mirena IUD, and a 1 year old.... That's enough birth control for me! Lol. And if I did get prego, I would take it as a beautiful and wonderful thing! People have gotten pregnant quickly, our bodies can do amazing things
Nina88 73 Posted September 12, 2012 My doctor said when I felt comfortable. It was at 10 days because I was scared to try sooner.
