When Will I See The Scale Move?

Hey Guys!

I'm not complaining or upset or anything... Just wondering what your experiences have been. I'm 7 days out. Gained 2 lbs. in hospital and I am only down 3 from pre-surgery weight. I know my body is still bloated and swollen and holding onto fluids from surgery, but I so badly want to see te scale give me a dramatic first drop. It's crazy. I've probably eaten only a few hundred calories in the last week. I just laugh now after I weigh in in the morning, look at my belly and say "are you going to let it go today?"

How did the weight loss go for you in the first weeks and month?

I believe my weight loss did not accelerate until the 2nd and 3rd month. I remember thinking the same thing in the hospital. If it weren't for the morphine and vicodin it might have bothered me.

Just keep working it. I was about two weeks out when I had a big drop.

I am 3 weeks post-op today and only yesterday the scale started to move. Just follow your doctors protocol and the weight will come off.
