Is anyone buying a goal outfit?? I'm afraid I will buy an outfit and once I get to my goal weight I may still not fit in it. I don't know what I should do?

That works bc I would have to buy smaller clothes when i lose weight anyways. My ultimate goal is to shop at Victoria's secret but it would be harder to guess what size I will be with that

I have bought shirts and thought wow I'll get into this in a few months, and I get home and wala it fits. I can't really buy pants because I'm bottom heavy and it's really tricky buying pants. I guess at this point I just really have trigger anxiety about clothes and I still have hesitation that they won't look good or fit me. It's something I have to get over. I still can't believe that I can get into a regular size large.

I just want my size to be in the single digits... I want to wear pretty dresses. I'm already looking into reconstructive surgery. Of course, it will have to be out of the country, Costa Rica or Dominican Republic

I kept smaller sizes in my closet all the time - lots of Salvation Army and Goodwill finds - several things I passed up because I didn't try them on often enough! It is so nice to have something that fits too!

I had some smaller clothes from previous diet attempts along with my wedding dress, going away outfit and one really hot dress i wore in my early 20s. As I worked my way through the various smaller sized clothing, sometimes things were out of season or too big before I tried them, so I didn't use all of them. I now fit in the wedding dress, going away outfit, and hot dress (although things have shifted in the last 30 years and the dress is not as hot as it once was!)

I bought smaller things as I needed them, getting them so snug they barely fit and keeping them till they got baggy. That worked better for me that buying smaller things for "later."

When I hit my goal somewhere between 235-250, I plan to buy a pimpin suit. Well not a "pimp" suit, but you know what I mean LOL.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
