theoldmusicbox 399 Posted September 10, 2012 I think everyone is different with lettuce. I was able to have salad at 2 months out, some I know were able sooner, but I have a friend that is 6 months out and been scared away from it. My advice would be that, when you think you are ready, do a bite test. Get your salad, take a bite, chew it and swallow, wait about 5 minutes to see how it feels. If it goes down well, try it slowly. barrbdoll 287 Posted September 10, 2012 I was able to incorporate salads at about week 7 or 8... I started small with just some spring mix or baby spinach.. Sliced up a couple of strawberries with some grilled chicken and balsamic vinegarette... went down just fine!! I enjoy the 1/2 salads that Wendy's sells..... I was playing around with small salads after 3-4 weeks, using chopped spinach instead of lettuce for its' little better nutritional profile, along with Tomato, avo, bell pepper, green onion, etc. along with a couple ounces of meat for Protein.< /p> Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
