Tipintx 41 Posted September 17, 2012 Well I am one week out today. I go tomorrow to have my staples removed. The first 48 hours were the hardest. And I have spent this week trying to get the hang of SIPPPING fluids. Somehow I missed this information in all of the research I did. I was up 10 lbs when I got out of surgery so this week has been a wash as far as weightloss goes. I move into full liquids for the next 2 weeks. This is definitely a learning experience and if possible I think it helps to have someone at home help you the first few days. There is quite a regimen of crushing pills, tracking Fluid intake, and breathing exercises. Not to mention walking which seems to be the best advice for faster recovery. Ok, I wish all a successful week! May God bless and keep you in His most capable hands. Sent from my iPad using VST 1 TamaraS reacted to this
