Peace36love 22 Posted September 17, 2012 @ smallvegan, did you do some raw juices post surgery, I'm thinking about adding in some fresh wheatgrass juice and beet and ginger juice for healing. What are your thoughts?
smallvegan 36 Posted September 17, 2012 I didn't actually. If it's ok with your nutritionist, I say go for it! Anything we can do to promote healing it a good idea!

Peace36love 22 Posted October 15, 2012 ok, I'm having a time with the Protein and the amount of food I can take in. The doctor said I can have a salad but I just can't chew it enough that it won't get stuck. I'm going to wait a little longer. I think I have been pushing the food thing a little fast. I might go back a bit to Soup. I ate salmon and spaggetti squash, and of course no matter how much I chew, it sits heavy it my chest.
an6elic 2 Posted October 26, 2012 I'm vegan too, sleeved in February. I've had no problems with it at all, best thing I ever did for myself. I get plenty of Vitamins and Protein in my diet with fresh fruit and vegetables. Sometimes tofu also. i have one or two soy Protein Shakes a day, thinking of switching to hemp protein though. anyone ever try it?

rdawson 1 Posted October 27, 2012 it really depends on what i mix it with. its pretty good with green smoothie... spinich pears blueberries etc... alone with soymilk or almond milk it can be kinda strange...
