jiji 3 Posted October 1, 2012 I did! I was sleeved on the 13th of sept. and all is going well! Thanks for asking! I know I probably shouldn't, but I pick up my kids all the time and don't notice a thing. I try to carry my 26lb boy less than my 20lb girl, but sometimes he just needs to be held. The kid thing has been the easiest part...now if I can just figure out the eating thing!
mommyofthree 2 Posted October 1, 2012 How long were you down and out? Any type of complications?
jar312 22 Posted October 1, 2012 The eating thing gets better with time. I remember my first month out, I was wondering what I did to my self. Then I got my fall clothes out and they are all too big!!!! I know I couldn't have done it on my own
Crystal Lavoie 29 Posted October 2, 2012 I have a 3 month old baby girl and had the surgery done 12 days ago. Today was my first day alone with her and it went well. Hard to bend too much but holding her carefully and while sitting has been fine. I did this for our future. I want to be an active, healthy mom so when she's young was the best option for me...for her...for our family. mommyofthree 2 Posted October 2, 2012 Jar213, I hear you. I have been doing the preop diet and am having a hard time. It makes me also realize even though I may be strong, I can't handle this food thing in my own, I do need the help.
