Scoutmom624 5 Posted September 7, 2012 I've had my fair share of surgeries and am no stranger to post operative pain. What I'm wondering is how the pain and recovery for the sleeve compares to a complete hysterectomy. I didn't love the recovery but it wasn't to bad so I'm hoping it is comparable or less. Has anyone out there had a sleeve and a hysterectomy? How do they compare?
Teriiann 34 Posted September 7, 2012 Id like to know the same thing........I had no pain except when I woke up and they were taking me to my room, as soon as they could I was on morhpine, kept on top of it. Never ever felt anything after that. I'm hoping thats how it will be when I get sleeved.......

Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted September 7, 2012 I had no pain. I used the morphine pump anyways because I just wanted to sleep. It was a little painful getting up and down though but that was because of the incision sites and the cutting of my muscles. I had 6.
Jakosgirl 8 Posted September 7, 2012 I have had both and have had almost no pain with the sleeve. 1st couple of days in the hospital I did use the morphine pump but I think the pain was more from trying to get in and out of bed than the actual surgery. Once home i didn't need it anymore.
