The dreaded protein shakes and bars

I've just been doing lots of Soup (Gardenay), apple juice, and yogurt along with Vitamins and clacium supplements. I am hoping that the yogurt will cover my Protein needs. Speaking of that, I bought some low-fat sour cream dill dip today. I figure I can do with a break from tzatziki. I am starting to look forward to a week from today when it will be mushie time!

Whoah! Did it really take you that long?

I just got unflavoured and chocolate, I think... maybe a strawberry sherbert. 20g of Protein per serving, right? Did you get unflavoured? Is it really unflavoured? Is it gritty?

I ordered and got it in about a week and a half. May depend on location. There are lots of recipes on the site, I have posted them here not long ago.

Thanks for all the info.

The Ensure does need to be very chilled. My nutritionist advised me to try it after I had many others that caused problems or simply tasted like rust in a can. I have never tried any of the others mentioned but will give them a shot now. This is why I love this site, you get lots of ideas.

Hi diane .how are you feeling?Welcome to bandland. Fill us in on your experience.

I go in tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. and I will certainly let everyone know how it goes. Right now I am gonna fit one more Protein shake in before midnight (ugh) After we can put a banana in there or something right? I will have to check with the doc. Not looking for anything to complicate things...

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...
