I had my surgery August 28 i am down 45 pounds so far. I won't be on puree foods until October 4th.My llid deit will total 7 weeks 2 before sugery and 5 weeks post surgery

My surgeon is very serious on 3 weeks thin liquids (anything through a straw). Then 3 weeks puree. Even though it sucks (5 more days of liquids) my surgeon assured me that it is the safest way to go. Leaks are a big risk when starting puree too soon!
