Lane Bryant Jeans

Recommended Posts

Okay, this may not be a big NSV, but it was to me. I have never worn less than a size 22 or 24 in LB jeans, even when I lost weight on my own. But, today I stopped in LB to buy some Spanx and said let me try on some jeans. My surgery was 2 weeks ago today and I could wear a size 20 jeans! Woohoo! I don't know how much I've lost because I decided not to weigh until I go to the doctor on Wed., but I'm pretty happy with that little victory! Yay me...

Hope you got a belt so next week when they're too big, they won't fall off. LOL Can't wait to her when you get down to a size 12. :)

That's one of the best feelings! Next, you will notice yourself in a mirror at a store or at the gym and be floored by your new proportions! That's an amazing feeling too! Congratulations!

You go! I always wore LB jeans..but I wasn't able to wear Target or Wal-Mart jeans..so I stopped in Target and picked the largest pair on the rack..I really didn't know what size I was because I wear scrubs and you can wear baggy scrubs for awhile. Anyway..the first pair I tried was way too big..so I went down a size..still too big...so I went down yet another size ..perfection ..I dropped 3 jean sizes ..and then I put them back on the shelf just because it's still warm weather where I am..but now..I think I can go to most stores and find something to wear ..it's a great feeling! Congrats!!!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
