Since they r high in sodium do they make u retain fluids. they r 0 carbs 9 Proteins but I assume they r fried. They really satisfy a snack plus make U drink more Water. I had my sleeve in Mexico do I don't hsvr a Nut to ask. Just wondered ig anyone else have eaten them since being sleeved.

You COULD eat them, but I assume they're fatty and salty as hell, like chips.

Should you eat them? My guess is no.

I do splurge and have them on occasions. It's important to know that the Protein in Pork rinds is not a significant source of protein tho. once in awhile wont hurt u, I just wouldnt eat them everyday.

Pork rinds.< /p>

Salty, fried goodness, but too rich for me. Sleeve definitely didn't like them.

What I've been doing for a crunchy, savory snack is making kale chips myself. You can find lots of recipes online and control the sodium yourself. It's a great fall vegetable, just fyi, packed with Vitamin C and other goodness.

Hope that helps ...

Pork rinds...YUM!! Yes you can have Pork rinds if your sleeve tolerates them. They are a good snack and just fine if you don't have to watch your sodium intake due to heart problems, etc. And they are fried, but you do need some fat intake to help you absorb your fat-soluable Vitamins. Moderation in everything should be your general rule for living with your sleeve. Also bear in mind that although pork rinds are all Protein, no carbs, there is not a lot of nutrition in them either. Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
