Jakosgirl 8 Posted September 4, 2012 Curious when you decided to weigh for the first time after surgery? Today has been 1 week and I am afraid to get on the scale...don't want any disappointment. Thinking about waiting until follow-up with surgeon but that's not for 2 more weeks.....
Livinglifeout 217 Posted September 4, 2012 I weighed myself after five days, when I returned from Mexico. Found that I had gained 6lbs from surgery and flying. Waited four more days and lost 10lbs:) 1 Jakosgirl reacted to this
MsDimplesGA 25 Posted September 4, 2012 I got on the scale when I got home after being discharged on 8/22/12. 1 Jakosgirl reacted to this
keldolbeth 262 Posted September 4, 2012 I asked them to weigh me before I was discharged because I thought I might be over the weight limit on the scale at my parents' house.
Ready for Change 3 Posted September 4, 2012 I stayed off the scale until my first follow up 9 days after being discharged from the hospital. I then decided to weigh myself once per week on Thursday mornings. It would be too easy for me to obsess about the "number" instead of focusing on Protein and fluids. I do track my food, Fluid, etc with My Net Diary. I have lost at each weekly weigh-in so far. I'm following my surgeon's diet exactly, no cheats. I want to get to goal on schedule so I can maintain. I am focused and determined to make this work for me. 1 Jakosgirl reacted to this

Seems fitting to start the week off. 1 Jakosgirl reacted to this
Ready4success 380 Posted September 4, 2012 It was a week ago today that I was sleeved, and I'm fighting the temptation to get on the scale right now. 1 Jakosgirl reacted to this
