anonteensleeve 1 Posted September 4, 2012 Hi sleevers I have a question to those of you who have been sleeved for months and have stretch marks on ur stomach… I was sleeved just a few days ago… how did ur stretch marks change as you lost ur weight?
Caradina 65 Posted September 4, 2012 My stretch marks aren't different, but they are more noticeable. As I shrink, my stomach skin is getting loose, so to be graphic, I have a tire filled with goo around my middle right now. My entire body is fine, but my front is horrifying. It's frustrating. I'm getting a Tummy Tuck as soon as I hit goal, because I hate it so much. I have to wear Spanks to work out because there is so much. So try not to dwell. It's just part of the journey and it's fixable once you are done.
Rootman 1,101 Posted September 4, 2012 Yes, the bidy has a great mechinism to create new skin as we get fatter and no real way of getting rid of it when we lose. If it bunches up and sags after weight loss the only real way to get rid of it is by surgical removal. The only way to reduce to the point where the excess skin is readsorbed is to reach dangerously thin levels where the body will start and use up the skin tissue as energy, we've all seen the walking skeletons due to starvation or anorexia. THis is very dangerous and can cause MORE issues than it will solve. Working out to fill in muscale mass can help but typically cannot "fix" the loose skin perfectly.
