Sugar Free Jello Pudding Mixes?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried any of these new flavors-pistachio, cheesecake, banana.... I only see them online and I want some input before I buy a mass quantity! I learned my lesson with Isopure:)

If you have a supertarget - mine carries all three- - the pistaschio is good the banana is ok- -havent had the cheese cake- - I have a HUGE sweet tooth but with all the Protein being sweet I dont use those as much. Unjury protein in the allowed wet/looser cheesy grits is good!

I don't have a super target! I'm not getting all of my calories in, so thought I could add some protein into the pudding mix! I was leaning toward pistachio or cheesecake, but thinking cheesecake could be weird tasting!

Most any grocery store carries at least some of the sugar-free Jello pudding mixes. Don't order a big bunch!!!

They have butterscotch as well as the kinds already mentioned. Unjury makes an "unflavored" (kinda, sorta) that you can add to the mix before toss in your fat free milk and mixing it up. Start with one-half scoop for the whole 4 serving mix and then you will be adding 2 or 3 grams of Protein to what you already have. If that is okay taste-wise, you can add one full scoop and see how that goes.

Just tried Better Bowls! Surprisingly good! 90 calories, 7 grams of protein!

I just made the sugar free fat free cheese cake one. I altered it a bit though this is what I did:

1 package FF SF cheese cake pudding mix

1 cup FF milk

1 cup FF Plain Greek FF yogurt

1 cup FF Cool Whip

whip it all together and chill 2 hrs then serve.

By my calcuations via MFP it should work out to about

61 cal. per 1/2 cup

0 fat

4.2 g Protein

2.1 g Sugar

1.3 g Carbs

I say not bad and is so delicious.

You will be sick of pudding only slightly slower than you are sick of Jell-O.

BUT, why not splurge on trying some pudding flavors? The powder doesn't go bad, and it doesn't cost nearly as much as Isopure, or any other Proteins for that matter.

I tend to find that buying the pre-made cups probably helped me not eat a whole bowl of pudding.

Does it have nuts in the mix?

Very little-small little flecks of nuts...I don't even think there's a whole pistachio in the whole box-it's really for eye appeal, I think...but has a really good flavor

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
