clk 3,519 Posted September 2, 2012 "Full" isn't the same post op. I'd eat only a few small spoonfuls and stop for a while to make sure it will sit well. Then I'd go back and finish, making sure to eat no more than 2 oz. in the very early stage. ~Cheri 1 caroless reacted to this
jennrus 176 Posted September 2, 2012 A few Tablespoons should have you doing a full check. Make sure you operate under the "fork down" system. Put your fork down after every bite. This will help the food settle and allow you time to check in with yourself. Also, don't eat where you are distracted - like in front of the tv. Make sure you are eating where you are focused on eating. If that makes sense. I find my stomach tells me pretty loud when it is full. I burp.
Lucabelle1313 36 Posted September 2, 2012 How Many weeks out are you? I would even try taking one bite and wait about 5 min. My first "soft" foods was nearly the first time I vomited and ate less than 3 oz. good luck!!!
