pinkiguana 12 Posted September 1, 2012 Sleeved April 24th, down 60 lbs. I make so much noise after I drink something. It continues for like an hour. Does this happen to anyone else and did it happen to anyone and has now stopped? What can I do to minimize or just stop this?
crchappell 0 Posted September 1, 2012 Mine does the same especially at night when I'm laying in bed, I think it's funny.

gustavo52974 369 Posted September 2, 2012 Yes, mine did that for a while after surgery. It sounded like my stomach was having a conversation with itself. I think it lasted about a week for me. *I'm only posting this statement as an expression of sympathy and not in any way suggesting that my experience is or will be the same as yours. Applebtmgrl77 3 Posted September 2, 2012 Mine too!! Try being in a meeting at work everyone waiting for you to talk and the only one saying anything is my sleeved stomach. What is that all about? I have been hoping it will go away soon almost three months out. Very humbling experience. I went from the fat girl to the gas girl.....Who says God doesnt have a sense of humour? 1 suepeeps reacted to this
jennyblue111 32 Posted September 2, 2012 Im 4 weeks post-op. Sometimes my stomach does have its own conversation. & sometimes my throat argues w/it. The throat probably aggravates me most. I told its probably temporary, as the acid in my throat will eventually settle down, & I'll have more room in my stomach as there's less swelling & the scar tissue settles. kmbrlycool 214 Posted September 2, 2012 I'm four months post op and mine just recently started doing it... I can feel it rumble.
DivaK 55 Posted September 2, 2012 Mine does it all the time as well...I can't wait for it to stop. It is particularly embarrasing when its just two people in the room. I am always burping too and it is uncontrollable. I hope both end really soon!
Izuri 428 Posted September 2, 2012 Mine still happens too. I'm 5 weeks out. It doesn't really bother me too much and if someone does hear it I just laugh and play it off like oh geez there it goes again!
