One of my favorites at that stage was scrambled eggs with a little cheese, it filled me up in a hurry. I would also do mashed potatoes, but they were the kind made with cauliflower instead.

I started soft foods today, too..YAY....I just had eggs and a string cheese...it filled me up..I tried a little meat..but it felt REALLY WEIRD going down...I didn't like it...I think I'll be "Eggin It" for a while until I am a little more healed.

I was sleeved Aug 20 too! I also had my first very soft scrambled egg today. I shaved a bit of sharp white cheddar on top with a tiny bit of sea salt. I ate it really slowly and finished about 3/4 of it which took me about 15 minutes to eat.

I didn't necessarily feel "Full" the way I knew full before but I could definitely feel it in my tummy and started to burp so I thought it best to stop. It is absolutely insane that I'm talking about almost finishing one egg when a 4 egg-stuffed omelet with 3 sides would have been normal for me before.

Cheers!

I am on soft foods until 3 months out. So I have tried a lot =p

tuna salad, chicken salad (w/canned chicken cause it's softer), stew (without potatoes), eggs, Protein shakes, shrimp, ground beef sloppy joes, turkey meatloaf, many different types of Soup, chicken and dumplings (with only a little dumpling - super filling), string cheese, all different types of cheeses, chicken cooked in the crock pot w/a salsa mix, then shredded and topped w/shredded cheese, a little guacamole, etc, canned chicken w/pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella, laughing cow cheese wedges, tilapia, steamed veggies, a bit of buffalo mozzarella made into a caprese salad (cut off skins of tomatoes), hamburger stroganoff minus the rice/noodles, baked salmon, cottage cheese, watermelon.....

I started out with mostly eggs and cottage cheese and then realized I was going to be eating these for too long and gonna get bored of those. I thought I didn't like most fish, but have loved everything I've tried. Most of this stuff can be made with lean meats or lower calorie ingredients, plus many of them work as dinners for my whole family instead of just something that I can eat. They've been awesome about being open to more soft food dishes.

Any kind of Protein will fill you up pretty quick. So just make sure you're eating protein first. I can usually get about 2oz total in of most Proteins.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Lost my Pup last month and struggled really hard for that first month. Stopped tracking intake and slid into old habits here and there. Also quit working out. Can't walk in the neighborhood because of all of the memories we shared. Losing my Pup is the most heartbreaking thing I've ever been through. My Pup was my world 💔
Talked to my doc during my one year followup and they were not worried about my current status. They know, and I know, that I will get back on track.
