seelessofme 63 Posted August 30, 2012 I am 16 days post op and in the soft foods/ puréed stage. I am a teacher and going back to work on Tuesday. Kids return on Wednesday. I have 4 classes back to back before a break. What can I take that will keep my energy up but that's easy to eat without interfering with my classes. Btw, I teach 7/8 grade Spanish and always talking! I do have a refrigerator in my classroom and thinking of bringing yogurt but that doesn't hold me for long before my energy drops. Help! Wheetsin 714 Posted August 30, 2012 The easiest thing at that stage is RTD or your own pre-made Protein drinks. Boiled eggs, soft fruit, cottage cheese (Breakstone has very nice, small serving packs), deli meats... I'm assuming these are all a part of your soft foods. Purees - any Soup without chunks is a puree, hummus, etc. If you're strapped for time and space, there are some fairly healthy baby foods out there. Gonna try that this weekend...because the Protein Shakes make me go to the bathroom and I have no aide to watch my students while I go to the bathroom. Thanks!
