I asked my surgeon if somewhere down the road (I didn't give a time frame) if I could have Bulgogi (Barbeque beef) and his answer was "maybe". Since he is Korean, I thought he'd know when and "maybe" was his answer. I HATE maybe, say yes or no. I love Korean food.< /p>

You will absolutely be able to have that...in time! I am 6 1/2 months out and have pretty much anything I want. I of course am making better choices now but I have been to sushi, mexican, burger joints etc and just eat my small amount and have leftovers. I have 3-4 pieces of sushi, burger minus the bun, grilled chicken taco without the tortilla and it takes care of my craving and I dont feel deprived at all. Hang in there, your day will come!

I don't think the doctor can give you a "yes" or "no" answer. Each individual is different. I've read where some people can no longer tolerate certain foods and others that can eat as they please as kimmy*custis can.

I hope you can have your bulgogi....shoot for that matter I hope I can have it after I get sleeved....love bulgogi!
