So. I've lost 106 pounds so far... From 375 to 269. At first I thought my boobs had gotten considerably smaller.... But I just needed a new better fitting bra. I went from a 48D to a 42D. My boobs are the same size... Just the band is different! Makes a world of a difference and my boobs look great!

Just wanted to put this out there for anyone experiencing the same thing... Perhaps just look for a new bra. Plus my old bras were just that: old and stretched out.

I've already had to go bra shopping...dropped from a 50F to a 46DD. I couldn't be happier...and love having more options when I go shopping!! :)

*sigh* I wish that was my only problem. I've gone from a 44D to a very unhappy 38B. It's very sad. However! I have over 200 pounds to lose total. When I lost the first 100 I got myself a beautiful opal ring that I wear everyday. When I lose the next 100 I am getting myself a boob job. I can't wait!

I have gone from a 22EE to a 16DD. I love them right now, in a bra. Out of the bra, I am not too sure!

I have bought good quality bras for the transition. I decided the cost was justified given how much a good bra can impact on how I feel when I wear clothes and look in the mirror.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
