neener 8 Posted August 27, 2012 Hey guys! I am a stay at home mom and am pre-op with a surgery date hopefully for December (I have 3 months mandatory medically supervised weight loss for my insurance to do). I know the hardest part of this process will be to not constantly snack while at home. I normally mindlessly eat during the day, especially when my son is taking his nap. I'm hoping to start feeling better about myself after WLS and have more energy so I can join a gym and maybe take a zumba class! So anyone else have this with being in the house all day? What other struggles do you have as a stay at home mom?
Sharonisshrinking 82 Posted October 13, 2012 I totally understand where you are coming from. I have 3 kiddos. My son in 5th grade and my daughters ages 3 and 4. It is so hard to be at home during the day. I was so used to eating all day. Now I have to find another way to fill my days. It's a lot harder than I thought. I am on day 3 of my liquid diet. I have already lost 11 pounds, but it has been rough. I wonder if it would be much easier if I worked outside of the home. I imagine it would. The days pass by so slowly. Ugh! Look forward to talking to you and others like me more. [sharedmedia=trackers:tickers:3830]
jersey_girl_86 61 Posted January 14, 2015 I have this problem also. I am currently in my first month of 3 month supervised. I gained 2 lbs and I'm so nervous what the doctor will say. I'm at home all day long and will eat bc the kids waste, or out of boredom, but I also never get the full feeling. So tomorrow I am sending all Snacks and junk food to my mom. I got healthy snacks for the kids and I really am trying to only eat 6 small meals a day and get all my Water in. Wish me luck!!!
