Yes I think that's what they keep referring to. Also, ironically they left a JP drain in yesterday-- I didn't think I would be seeing one of these again so soon...

I had my gallbladder checked before my surgery and it was fine. I just had mine out 9/11. Less then a year from my sleeve.

What area of the country do you live? I'm just curious because it seems like the hospital isn't qualified on something as basic as a gallbladder. Not knocking rural towns, I lived in a beautiful place for over 20 years, but the downside is a lack of medical care.

It's really helpful for me to read these posts. I have and x-ray coming up the 1st of October. I have high level of bilirubin and my PCP wants to check my GB. I have no pain or any other sxs that I am aware of. Thank you so much for sharing this.

I do live in a "rural" type of area, my first gallbladder surgery wasn't in the smallest hospital I've ever seen though, they did transfer me to a major hospital for the second surgery
