Well, I'm not a diabetic (never have been) but I'm 5 weeks out and have definitely had several episodes. Now I'm in a predicament where every three hours, I have to put something on my stomach or I feel like crap.

My son is diabetic, while he was working in a fast food restaurant he experiences several drops in blood sugar. What we found as a good soloution is glucose tablets. They kinda look like a roll of tums & are available in several flavors in most pharmacies.

I'm glad he told you to increase your sugar. At 49 dont you feel weak and exhausted? I'm type 2 diabetic and even at 80 I get shaky.
