nikmak05 1 Posted August 25, 2012 I was told by my doc to use 2 forms of BC after surgery, which isn't a prob... even though it kinda stinks. My question is how long do I need to use more than one? My doc didn't really explain that well. I tried to look it up but came out unsuccessful. Thank you!
Googler 31 Posted August 25, 2012 Apologies, but what is BC?
TinaMari 75 Posted August 25, 2012 Why do u have to use two?
gingersnap 11 Posted August 25, 2012 I was told that when you lose weight that you can become very fertile and right after surgery, the first year is a bad time to conceive.
Piplula 709 Posted August 25, 2012 I know this is awful to say but I hate condoms! Thank God I don't do the dating scene anymore. The only reason I can think for using two methods of bc would be because the only method that is 100% fail proof is abstinence.
TinaMari 75 Posted August 25, 2012 Why don't you like condoms?
Piplula 709 Posted August 25, 2012 Why don't you like condoms? Honestly, I just prefer the feel of a man bare. You don't have to bother with stopping and putting it on...you just get on with business. And since I have no uterus or ovaries and I am married, I won't have to worry with pregnancy or STD...the last one I better not....lol.

alliemm 24 Posted August 25, 2012 My doc was fine with me having just my IUD, but still told me to be careful. He said the first year to 18 months is not the best time to get pregnant due to the quick weight loss. Check with obgyn and see what he/she recommends. I personally don't like condoms as well. Good luck!
