Why are we not to drink from a straw? I know I read it somewhere but can't remember why.

It allows too much air into our stomachs.... Just causes us more pain

Hmmm i use a straw all the time. It really helps me get in my Fluid. No pain or anything. :)

My daughter and I have both used straws since being sleeved and have had no problems. Not sure what all the hoopla is about straws. We avoided them during the healing stage, but after we went to regular food, we having been straw sipping all the time...K
