Julie Ann 2 Posted August 25, 2012 I am 4.5 weeks post op and my right side is really hurting me. It feels like someone has kicked me in the ribs. I've also been having trouble eating even 1/4 of a cup of food (as my nut says I should be able to eat now). Has anyone else had this experience?

Have you called your doctor? Do you still have your gallbladder or history of kidney stones? In any case, would recommend you call.

Julie Ann 2 Posted August 25, 2012 I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago. I also vomited for the first time since the recovery room yesterday. I am dehydrated. Had 3 bags of IV Fluid yesterday and it was during this time that I threw up. I don't think I got sick from eating too much. I only had a few bites of a scrambled egg. blondie1007 51 Posted August 25, 2012 I have had this before and after having an upper GI, we found the culprit to be a huge ball of gas the size of a grapefruit. The only thing that got rid of it was moving around and exercising. Thats probably why you cannot eat anything either. There is no room. But just to make sure you should consult your doctor. 1 Need-a-Sleeve reacted to this

Julie Ann 2 Posted August 25, 2012 I didn't realize that you could still have problems with the ducts. Thank you all for your advice!
