Aimstergal 42 Posted October 22, 2012 Hi all. I was sleeved on 10/15. I'm reading about everyone difficulties and to tell you the truth, I'm really scared because I haven't had ANY difficulties. Besides the incision pain and being tired, I've truly had no nausea, vomiting, extreme chest pain, gas pains, etc. the only thing I'm having trouble with is drinking all the Protein Drinks. Not because I'm not tolerating it physically but because I'm just so sick of the chalky and sweet taste. I decided this morning to start my full liquids today instead of tomorrow and made a broccoli, cauliflower and potato puréed Soup and it's heavenly. I'm not trying to brag...I'm truly scared because its been TOO easy! Something must be wrong??? I keep questioning whether my doctor actually did the full surgery beyond the incisions! I know it sounds crazy but I keep reassuring myself that if it didn't happen, I'd have passed out by now and be STARVING!!! Is anyone else like this? I'm really scared. ponydoc4u 0 Posted October 22, 2012 Hi , I am Paula ,a 54 yr young equine. Veterinarian. I have twins that are 22 , one in Medical school and the other in college. I had my sleeve on 10/8/12 and have had a bit of a bumpy ride since. Mostly dehydration. Geeze , it is hard to drink that much I have lots of pets supporting me as well as family. Horses and Corgis are the most help since I have to constantly diet them . The team at Winchester Bariatric are great ! Good luck to all still waiting this month! Pitchdad 3 Posted October 22, 2012 I check in tomorrow at 7:30am central time, 10:30 procedure time. I can say I am feeling the nerves right now. Driving around town running errands and all I seem to see is restaurant signs everywhere. Driving me crazy. 2 Susan 2.0 and shayv123 reacted to this
