Aimstergal 42 Posted February 5, 2013 I am so disappointed. Surgery 10/23 and I haven't lost for weeks! Hang in there. The stalls are horrible. Going through the same thing myself. Surgery 10/15. Are you checking your inches? Even though I haven't lost for a few weeks, I'm fitting into most LARGES instead of XXL!! Plus, my doctor told me not to focus on number of pounds but percentage of weight loss. That helped calm me. Sent from my iPad using VST

Susan 2.0 278 Posted February 8, 2013 I'm in a stall, myself, right now. I'm sure the sweet tea & Chai Lattes have NOTHING to do with that. But I'm learning my lesson. These things are not conducive to weight loss but more like weight maintenance. Therefore, they need to be put back on the no-no list until the other 50 lbs come off. Sigh. imworthit 156 Posted February 8, 2013 Hey guys 10/18 here down 73 lbs from my highest weight! Feeling great weight loss has definitely slowed down but I'm still losing
Holly5.3 423 Posted February 9, 2013 Hey there! I'm a 10/11/12 sleever and down a total of 79 pounds since highest (56 post-op) and made it to "one-derland" today! Soooo happy! Time to go down a jean size (finally! From size 18 to 16 took a huge weight loss to do it! Strange how some sizes go fast and others take a larger loss to get to. I guess that's why loss of inches is sometimes more important than the numbers on the scale.)
Catherine Shinn Habhab 97 Posted February 9, 2013 Congrats on your weight loss Holly! I agree that it takes a huge weight loss to see a size change. It was kind of discouraging in the beginning........but I have finally thrown some clothes out!!

SCS 5 Posted February 13, 2013 At a terrible stall. Only lost 8 pounds in 6 weeks. Help!!! Seem to be stuck forever. This is so discouraging. Also a lot of fatigue. Anyone else having fatigue? HW. 255 CW. 190 Female. 53 Thanks!!
krenzema 14 Posted February 14, 2013 4.5 months post op and concerned the pounds will stop falling off. Doc thinks I might be falling behind the curve too. All the charts show a drastic slow down in months 5,6,7... I'd like to be in onderland by June, but that could be optimistic. If things stay the way they are now, I'll get there, but not if the fat loss slows down. The last three months I've lost 12-13 pounds consistently, so I'm upping my workouts and keeping my calories at or below 900 per day. Thoughts or insights? HW. 255 CW. 190 Female. 53 Thanks!! I suggest you have your thyroid levels checked and make sure you're drinking enough Water. I was feeling fatigued, and my thyroid was low & I was dehydrated. My doc put me on thyroid pills & I increased my water & the pounds came off again & I feel great. Make sure you're getting enough Protein, too. My doc says 80-90 grams per day. Sometimes, I get over 100 grams. When I cut all carbs, I feel terrific. Good luck! Hang in there! Sleeve date: Oct. 15. HW: 315; SW: 283; CW:

plbutler 24 Posted February 22, 2013 Chills562 - I wish I could eat bread easier! It doesn't like me too much! I wouldn't think you could stretch out your sleeve in 4 months, but you should ask your doc. On another note: I went to the doc Tuesday and the NP told me that I needed to cut my calories down to 600/day and increase my exercise 5x/week!! I am going to just die! My 10 year old keeps me running as it is and I work an hour from my house!
