chad2rad 491 Posted October 16, 2012 Concerned post week two I can drink a premier shake in twenty minutes. Is that too fast? Had surgery 10/8 Also want to confess I did not measure my Soup closely last pm and today. A belly ache and first nausea in a while scared me tonight. So I am back to thinner full liquids, think the roasted Tomato Soup was too much, and measuring. No guess work. I did not have lortab all day until now. Hopefully that is it. It's helping. Done so well, how could I let a little boredom and carelessness put me at risk for a leak.

freespirit63 112 Posted October 16, 2012 I shopped after my surgery in August. You do not want to lie in bed' date=' it feels better to get out and move around. You may not want to count on her being out for long periods of time but 2 to 3 hours at a time, with places to sit and time to drink some fluids, she should be OK. I had a very easy recovery, was sleeved in MX and flew home 3 days after surgery. Once I got home I felt much more weak and tired than right after surgery.[/quote'] Thank you that helps a lot

I can drink my muscle mile light, or pure Protein in 10 minutes. I have NO trouble at all. My surgeon told me, that that is great progress. I want proof he took out 85% of my stomach! I was so hungry, i had pureed tuna salad last evening, two days ahead of scheduled. It was like 3 ounces, and I ate it in about 20 minutes. Felt very satisfied, but not too full. Still not hungry this morning. That said, my scale hasn't moved in 5 days, and I am only 13 days out. Done Did It!
