Good Afternoon,

I have noticed since I went to soft solid/solid foods that sometimes it feels like food is getting stuck in my throat. Like it is close to coming back up, but without the vomit sensation. I try to burp to get it to move down, but it dosn't. It isn't sticking in my esopaghus, but in my throat, just about where my collar bone is. Has anyone experienced this? What could be the issue?

Are you taking an acid reducer? A PPI or something like Pepcid? Acid can feel like something stuck.

I have. It's like the food won't go down. I don't know what it is. It's not reflux or acid because it's immediate. it feels like there is physically food around the clavicle area.

I know exactly what you mean. Mine feels like it's stuck between my sternum and my collar bone. I don't need to throw up but I feel like I need to burp some. I just have been taking this as my "you're full" feeling. I take my omeprazole so it's not reflux.

I know what your talking about too. I also take omeprazole, it's a different sensation than acid reflux. It was worse when I first started sifts and solids. I'm three months out and it is a lot better now.

This is the feeling I get when I take that one bite too many. Not very comfortable!
