dooter55 35 Posted August 23, 2012 I guess I've been drinking too much. The discomfort when drinking liquids stopped yesterday afternoon and today I got in over 100ozs. Susan from dr. Alvarez said that is too much and it may deplete minerals. Weird - I'm worried as to why can I drink so much?? Prior to surgery I would drink 1-2 gallons a day but it doesn't seem like that should matter. Anyone else experience this? I'm five days post op. Maybe it's a good problem to have but I'm worried nonetheless.
COsleeveDude 273 Posted August 23, 2012 He's probably worried you're going to flush everything through your system before it has a chance to be digested and absorbed. Seems logical. My program said at least 32 oz for staying out of the ER, and shoot for 64 oz optimally. Good luck.
