alliecat1095 128 Posted August 21, 2012 Hi I was just told by my partner that has been in remission for 7 yrs that two of here lymph-nodes behind her stomach are swollen. He did say he doesn't think the cancer is back but he wants to double ck..The oncologist wants her to have a biopsy some time next week. My surgery is next week , my question should I reschedule my surgery. I am self pay. She said to continue with my surgery. What does everyone think. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
O.T.R. sleever 3,386 Posted August 21, 2012 I'd say that depends on your individual strength level & tolerance to pain. I know personally if I were to have had my surgery on Monday, I would have been fine to be beside my wife through almost anything by Wednesday or Thursday. Since they are presuming that it is not cancer if I could finagle the schedules I'd go through with it. If your surgery is within 2 days of her appointment, I think I'd talk to the surgeon and see if anybody the following week wanted to swap. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
