CandiKiss 15 Posted August 19, 2012 Hello folks! Surgery went great but not getting enough fluids in..Dr ordered me to stay until 2morrow. A little discomfort, I vomited blood and they were concerned but everything is great. Up walking which is annoying bcos I'm sleepy..lol..No "number 2" yet or pass of gas but I do burp often. ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted August 19, 2012 CandiKiss glad WLS went well - sometimes getting enough fluids in the beginning can be tough - later too drinking enough Water can have its own problems - if you don't drink enough you will become dehydrated - at your early stage especially get in all the liquids you can - drink plenty of water vomitting blood, hmmmm - doesn't sound too good - glad you are doing better - as "they" say - things will get better just a layman here, but your dr. was correct to have you stay another day, couldn't hurt good luck take care have a wonderful journey in front of you Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
