gustavo52974 369 Posted August 18, 2012 I didn't experience memory loss so much as I got "foggy" and easily confused. And yes, attention span and concentration were diminished. I don't think I'm getting enough calories yet for it to go away completely though. Even before surgery, if I didn't take in enough calories and carbohydrates, my mind would start to get foggy. I seriously can't understand how those who starve themselves or eat very little can make it through the day.
Wolfgirl1978 256 Posted August 19, 2012 I don't know if you're keeping tracks of your carbs, but those might be too low. My NUT says the brain needs those to function.

fluffylibra30 323 Posted August 19, 2012 Some people says the loss of gherlin in our systems contributes to memory farts. I dunno there seems to be a lot of debate about it. I googled it once and my head got jumbled trying to understand it.
