Mmmm sounds like a very similar favorite recipe of mine that i make...cut up boneless porkchops fried and pour some of my homemade green salsa on top simmer and enjoy. I am so going to have to try your recipe it sounds delicious. When you pureed it though was it weird? Im so iffy on pureed meat it just doesnt sound appetizing :-\ 1 ladiJ reacted to this
ladiJ 83 Posted August 19, 2012 I haven't even had surgery yet and I am worried about the pureed part of post-op diet. I use to work at a skilled nursing facility when I was a teen and looking at those globs of pureed food was enough to make me ill. Totally NOT appetizing. I know I can do pudding, cottage cheese, tuna but meats? ?Please tell me by the time you get to pureed you will eat anything?

My nut told us about a patient who literally bought a hamburger from a fast food joint went home and pureed the burger omg yuck who is that stupid and desperate to do that!? Not me thats for sure. They ended up having to pump his stomach several times because not only did he do that but he did the same with steak and bbq ribs!? Idk if i want to try pureed meat it just seems so not worth it right now. I rather stick to smoother lighter foods for a lil while longer. 1 DanaInNewOrleans reacted to this

I had a serving to get my meat craving gone!! Lol 1 seelessofme reacted to this
