PandaBear_No_more 2 Posted August 17, 2012 Ok guys, I've been experiencing some chest pains so I went to the doctor and he said he has 4 other patients that have had wls that have heart issues also, this news really disturbed me because this is a really small office. UTGal99 327 Posted August 17, 2012 I don't think one has anything to do with the other. I don't believe that the WLS is causing heart problems, rather keep in mind people having WLS are obese and may already have heart related co-morbidities. Just my 2 cents... TbrowmPerkins 0 Posted January 4, 2013 I have a heart condition, and that was one of my main concerns. My surgeon and cardiologist assured me they would take every extra precautions. There will be a cardiology team on board, and they will place some type of tube in neck in case of emergency.
